I was sad to hear that one of our local customers, Tom Streams, died over the weekend. Tom had owned a TR4A in the 1960's. He eventually sold it, but a couple of decades later Tom came across the same TR4A he had owned in his 20's and he was happy to buy it back. The car was in rough shape at that point, but Tom did a complete frame off restoration and eventually got it back on the road.

He often stopped by TRF to pick up parts or Dan Mabon would drop parts off at his house on the way home from work. I remember John Swauger helping to source him some good used fenders and Wood Chuck helping him with the assembly of his wood dash. Tom worked as an ambulance driver in his younger years and there is an amazing picture of him attending to an electrocution victim on a power line.
